Example Questions

Q1: Personality: 'I remain calm and focused when unexpected situations arise during a flight.'

Answer: Rate 1-5 based on how accurately this describes you

This measures Emotional Stability — your ability to stay composed under pressure.

Q2: Stress: During approach, ATC instructs a go-around but the captain hesitates. What do you do?

Answer: Firmly state 'Going around' and initiate the procedure

Safety-critical situations require decisive action regardless of authority gradient.

Tips for Best Performance

  • For the personality assessment, go with your first instinct — don't overthink each statement.
  • Answer based on how you actually behave, not how you think you should behave.
  • For stress scenarios, consider CRM principles: communication, situational awareness, and decision-making.
  • There is no time limit, but try to maintain a steady pace through the questions.
  • Your results are confidential and used to build your UAAT Profile.

Once started, the timer cannot be paused. Ensure you are in a quiet environment.
